About TLBNM YOUTH The TLBNM Youth are out there in full force representing our club. These young people take care of their animals completely and show them off with great pride. Everyone of us should be proud to have these kids as a part of our organization. Hats off to the parents and family members who help these kids reach their goals of showing their animals This is something that does not come cheap or without sacrifices to them and their families. This involves MANY MANY MANY hours of hard work and dedication that these kids do not shy away from. SPECIAL MENTION Starting this group with grace and determination was Jan Gentry. She is a woman of many talents and interests. She devoted many hours to the development of the youth group. Even though she did not have kids of her own showing Longhorns this did not stop her from putting all her effort into helping the youth reach their goals. Whenever necessary she still steps up and does her best with the kids. Trying to fill her shoes are Peri Clark and Kristi Wilson. Peri has a daughter, Kacey, who is very active in showing her cattle. Aside from that Peri is always available to help anyone out with anything they need. Kristi Wilson is very active in the youth not only with her own children but with helping everyone else out. She is always the Show Secretary for all our events and putting together entry forms and packets is a VERY time consuming job. She is a multitasking Queen for the TLBNM Both of these woman are remarkable and unwavering in their devotion to the youth of TLBNM. Neither of them asks for any recognition and stay behind the scenes watching the kids proudly show their animals. HATS OFF to both of these fantastic woman for their unwavering help for all the kids involved in the youth program. We need more kids involved in the youth program. After all folks, these kids are the FUTURE of theTLBNM and TLBAA!!! Without them what will happen to the Longhorn shows in 20 years?
