To promote the Texas Longhorn breed so it can assume its rightful destiny as a meaningful asset to the modern beef production industry, to seek to establish a standard of excellence for the Texas Longhorn, and also establish an age classification for sale and show purposes.

To act as a financial conduit or administrator for benefactors in the transfer, donation, bequest of assets, financial or tangible, to educational, agricultural, scientific or other appropriate organizations supportive of the propagation and betterment of the Breed.
